Lectures + Events
The Institute presents lectures and other events for a general audience. Each year’s lectures are focused on a specific theme, though non-theme talks are also interspersed. The theme for 2005 is Figuring Minds. The emphasis in all presentations is to actively engage the audience in hand-on exploration and thinking through logical and intellectual puzzles. [more]
Online Exhibits
The Institute creates online exhibits on selected themes inspired by our lectures. Exhibits provide further information on a given topic and include downloadable materials for further activities and exploration. [more]
Publications
The Institute publishes books and brochures related to the lectures and other topics of interest. In addition to reading matter, the Institute produces model kits and sundry other supplementary materials. [more]

Exhibitions
The Institute curates exhibits and exhibitions at various museums and galleries. We are building a permanent collection of models and documents that we plan to make available in the future. The Institute does not yet have a physical exhibition space of our own - but we are dreaming. [more]

HYPERBOLIC CROCHET CORAL REEF
The IFF's Crochet Coral Reef is a celebration of geometry, handicraft, and marine biology that responds to the dual crisis of global warming and ocean acidification through a global-scale, participatory project that engages communities around the world. [more]
